The only proof that the small village of al-Nabi Yusha ever existed is this shrine of the same name. Some 70 Palestinians were ethnically cleansed from the village, close to the Lebanese border, on 17 May 1948. Today, the lands belong to a Jewish settlement called Ramot Naftali. (August 2004)
