Above, sitting on the ridge and looking down on Nazareth, are the administrative buildings and industrial area of the Jewish town of Upper Nazareth (Natzerat Elit in Hebrew), built on land confiscated from Nazareth. The biggest building, looking like a modern-day castle, is the Courts of Justice, which is uplit at night, making it look all the more menacing. (September 2001)
